Southern Aurora Form Partnership

Southern Aurora and Legion Star, are pleased to announce a partnership that will see the two corps come together to perform and compete as one unit for 2007 the summer season.

This partnership has been formed from the friendship and mutual respect that was gained during a successful tour of Europe together, when both units performed in winter drumline.

Both corps will retain their own identity and organisational structure, and although competing in Southern Aurora’s uniform, each member will display their own corps emblem.

The partnership has been formed to benefit from each corps strengths, and to create a large competitive outfit. David Pope, corps director of Southern Aurora said “this is a very exciting time for us; we are looking forward to working with Darren and everyone at Legion Star, the opportunity’s this brings are endless”.

Darren Spill, corps director of Legion Star added “We have many young rookies who will benefit from this partnership and they are all very excited about this opportunity to march our first summer season with Southern Aurora”
