New Truck Arrives

Aurora have taken delivery of their new equipment truck, the new truck weighs in at 7.5 Tons, and with a 24ft furniture body, its absolutely cavernous compared with the old truck, it will provide adequate accommodation for the Dynasty Pit equipment, and allow us to tour Europe with out the need for a hire vehicle.

The decision to replace the old truck was taken by the committee some time ago, having given many years of good service, signs of old age beginning to show, continued poor starting, and inadequate loading space, as the equipment keeps growing in size, have all come together to bring it to an end.

Aurora’s senior driver Paul Beard travelled to Sheffield to take deliver of the new vehicle, and bring it back to Woodingdean , on he’s return Paul commented that he was delighted with its condition and performance, the truck was pressed into service straight away, but will shortly be fitted out and sign written.
