Launch Day

Sunday saw the launch of the 2007 show, at Woodingdean community centre, the launch was well attended and it was nice to see some new faces and the return of one old one.

The day started with Neil Palmer giving an overview of the concept of the show design and music, and the first chance to hear some of Joe’s arrangement.

It was great to have the full percussion line and the brass back together again, and it didn’t take long for the new faces to settle in, although I understand there were some pretty sore lips when the brass finished their sectional session.

The day finished with an opportunity to catch a preview of the Winter Drumline show, the standard of percussion is exceptional, it’s a very strong and powerful performance; this show is not to be missed once it goes on tour!
